Dianna hummed, inching a hand south to swat at Kev’s pajama clad behind, he kissing along her collar— then ear, the tickle of which encouraged yet another girlish laugh. “Kevin Michael McHale… am I gonna’ have to put you on the naughty list this year?” Di teased, turning to snake tinsel round his neck, loving the way Kevy held firm at her hips as she kissed him… walking them backwards towards fireplace, intent on stringing silver foiled decorations. Pulling back, Dianna “aww“ed— quick to lovingly thumb over Kevin’s pout, instead pecking his nose a sweet moment. Once done, garland across mantle and beneath menorah, she turned; Kev both kissing and, after, nuzzling the rose of Di’s cheeks. She giggled, wholly in love and wholly light-hearted… pressing the now doubled heat of her face just over Kevy’s breastbone. Dianna’s arms hugged about his slim, strong frame, she breathing the musk of Kevin’s tee— his muscle in, murmuring a soft, “How are you so sweet?” Admiring the dull rush of Kev’s pulse, Di exhaled; his touch massaged tender under printed top, a contented rise of gooseflesh littering the warmth of her skin as he kept there— she admitting to her buy of Christmas decor so that they might celebrate together… timidly chancing a peep up at him.
By Kevy’s kiss, Dianna was most pleasantly surprised— gasping a bit, his cup of her neck and angled lead encouraging she step unto tip-toe. Smiling against his lips, Di clung, gently fisting Kevin’s shirt; his nip, however, prompted a quiet moan, the sound letting from Dianna’s throat in separation. Hazel stare fondly dazed, fluttering open, she caught sapphire— that beautiful… expressive sapphire. Di beamed, his words, each becoming an enthusiastic promise, stealing her very breath; she was, unsurprisingly, speechless. “I love you, too,” Dianna managed, leaning into his kiss of forehead, voice a whisper— the sound intimate. “I love you so much…” She chuckled, features aglow as he cradled them. Di bopped again onto the balls of her feet, smooching Kev’s chin. “Says my painfully cute, man,” she mused, taking a second to revere Kevy’s boyishly handsome good looks— though, at his offer to trim bare tree, Dianna bounced. “Yes please…!” she grinned, rocking side to side within Kevin’s embrace, laughing all the while.
Shifting them near to her sofa, Di peppered a ginger kiss between Kev’s pecs. “You may have to take the lead on this one, honey,” she giggled, hands smoothing to squeeze at his sides— wishing that they could… forever stay like this.
“Hey!” Kevin jumped at the swat to his backside, chuckles pouring from his lips as he stole a glance Dianna’s direction, eyebrow arching in a playfully incredulous way. “I’m always on the good list— ‘sides, you’re the one over there slapping my ass,” he teased, the couple soon decorating fireplace mantle with tinsel and menorah, before cuddling close once again, reveling in the feel of each other’s embraces. Kev held her close; Di was so small, even in his arms - petite figure hugged tightly as his nose nuzzled her own, brushed along her feminine jaw - he even sneaking a few kisses here and “Mmm-ing,” and the feel of her flushed cheeks heat against his own. He loved her so much, more than any other person in his life; the feeling both fierce and undeniably sweet— she was precious, holding his own frame securely and resting angelic face against the thrum of his heart… it was then that Kevin questioned the other decorations, curious if they were purchased for the benefit of them both or just his lady herself. Catching bright hazel with his own soft stare, he couldn’t ignore the flutter in his heart at the thought of them spending these holidays together— sharing not only in the act but, all of it - down to the last piece of garland… together. Noting the uncertainty of her stare— the tentative peep she gave him, Kevin was quick to assuage her worry, strong palm gingerly cradling her neck as he leaned down and reeled her forward into a slow, expressive kiss, and promising the thought of sharing their traditions together meant the world to him.
Sighing at the meet of their lips— the way Di gripped his shirt nearly desperately - the gasp and moan that spilled into the kiss by surprise and tug of lower pout; it all had Kevin smiling, he securing his hold of slim frame and languidly suckling at the lower swell of her lip, palms caressing back ever so feather light— he too chuckling at the feel of Dianna resorting to tip toes for better angle, causing his fingers to gently grip her waist and settle there. Her whispered return of love for him had Kev beaming, bright eyes reflecting unto her own vibrant orbs, more giggles released at her compliment as sweet forehead was kissed— tender; a second gesture of reassurance. “Thanks, baby. You’re the one being adorable over here though, bouncing around like a little child on Christmas— or Hanukkah, he quickly added with a grin. Watching as pink lips pressed a kiss between dressed pecs - causing his heart to soar - Kevin nuzzled her cheek once more before led to the couch, it cluttered with Christmas decorations galore. “No worries, I got this one, babe…” he promised, spotting the box with brand new artificial tree - the look of it nearly real. “Maybe sometime we’ll go pick out a real one, but for now, this one is gorgeous. Besides, real trees mess up my allergies,” Kevin chuckled, kissing Di’s cheek once more before pulling away, a pocket-knife retrieved and opened, he using it to cut through the tape on the box. All the while, he wondered if she picked up on his wording; he having hinted that this definitely wouldn’t be their only holiday together…
In a matter of minutes, the tree had been removed and with teamwork (though Kevin tried to put the tree up completely on his own), he gently took Di’s hand so they could stand back, and gaze at it lit-up, he thankful for the convenience of pre-lit lights. “It looks beautiful, but we need some ornaments…” he smiled down at her, eying several boxes of brand new sparkling baubles. “I’ve only got one rule about trimming the tree…” he smirked, giving slender digits a delicate squeeze. “There are no rules when it comes to making it our own.”

At his pouncing hold, she shaken from thoughts of a fast approaching future with Kev, Dianna screamed— far too giddy now to wonder at their relationship’s next step. She wriggled and laughed, tight within the hug of strong arms, candy cane perfumed neck playing victim to playful ferocity— Kevy’s teasing growls between each bite drawing from Di’s giggles a pitched hiccup, adorably hysterical as she squeaked. Mischief momentarily aside, hands interlaced and banter made over Dianna’s newly purchased decorations, she turned— quirking that infamous brow in answer to Kevin’s devilish muse. “Well that’s funny— because I’ve been kissing you all night,” Di razzed, shooting her man an impish wink, he then lifting a piece of near tinsel and asking just where it might go. Again inspired, jaunty, Dianna smirked… looping the garland round Kev’s own neck, bringing him to kiss at her lips by a gentle tug of foiled ends. Chuckling, blindly (though not without memory) leading her boyfriend towards fireplace, Di only broke the meet of their press once having arrived. Detailing the hang of tinsel below menorah and across mantle, Dianna kissed at Kevy’s nose— loving the way it crinkled, flushing after in catching velvet tenor compliment.
“Aren’t you just a big, soft, sweet talking man,” she cheesed, welcoming his pecks of rosy cheeks, nuzzling his same right back. “And you are smart. My smart, handsome, hilarious baby,” Di cooed, bumping noses together— palms trailing Kevin’s sides and around his torso tenderly snaking. She couldn’t quite seem to stop giggling; couldn’t quite seem to wipe the smile off her face… something about— the domesticity of it all… of their night together just… warmed her, inside and out, Dianna resting an ear above Kev’s heart— admiring the deep, delicious rumble of his voice in chest as he spoke, touch slipping beneath her pajama top and sparking a heated ripple of gooseflesh; Di hummed, under Kevy’s idle fingertips entirely at ease. “Mm…?” He was asking her something— had she gone out and bought, for him, Christmas decor… or was she simply restocking…? Suddenly aware of his wonder, Dianna’s features burned, she hiding them a bit in a slight burrow against lithe pecs. “Oh! Um… well— yeah, honey,” Di admitted, chancing up - at Kevin - a quick peep. “I mean… I didn’t have much reason to celebrate Christmas before, but… but now that we’re— getting pretty serious, I do, so… I don’t know, I just— picked out a tree, and… and some ornaments and lights— not for you, or for me, but… for us.”
Dianna squeezed tight, resting her chin unto Kev’s breastbone, shy hazel flitting north to read sapphire focus. “I hope that’s, um… that that’s okay, bee…”
Kevin loved that though Dianna had her bashful moments and ones when she was reserved, she also could be very playful with him, such as the girlish squeals she relinquished upon bear hugs and growls— the fact that she was giddy and giggling non-stop the entire evening since his arrival; the sound each time caused his heart to stutter. She was brilliant and breathtaking, even in the coziest of domestic pajamas and hair tied back, the style allowing her angelic features to be better broadcasted. “Mmm, I wasn’t complaining about that, sweetness; you know you can kiss your boy as much as you want…” A kiss to her collarbone. “Wherever you want,” he added, trailing to the patch just below her ear and peppering another kiss. Laughing again as their lips this time met on account of Di pulling him toward fireplace mantle and her with silver tinsel, Kevin pressed back, hands firmly on her waist and guiding Dianna, just to make sure she wasn’t to fall. Pouting slightly as she pulled away and strewn the garland along the fireplace instead, Kev’s grin quickly returned at the sight. She made even the simplest of things so beautiful. The kiss to his nose had the brunette scrunching it, he commenting on the new decoration, though insisting it might look best on his lady. “I’m only being honest,” he promised, kissing to each blossoming cheek and adoring the way Dianna buried her face into his chest and above heart, own strong arms wrapping round her slender frame to hold her there. He was sure she could feel the steady beat of his heart incline— it always expedited when around her. Slipping warm palms just beneath the material of adorable jammies, Kevin inquired about the decorations as he stroked at her silky skin, touch springing goosebumps beneath. Her response was only what Kevin hoped to hear, it unexpected, and provoking a huge smile to light up his features.
Slipping a hand higher along her back and up to cup the nape of her neck, Kevin pulled Dianna’s face up to his, lips languidly moving against hers, though the action never faded the grin from his expression. Gently nibbling at her lower lip, he ailed the heated area with a soft peck, before pulling back to shake his head at her happily. “Baby, of course that’s okay— I… I’m so happy that, that you did. I wanted to celebrate both holidays with you, and I just… It means so much to me that you want the same. Life isn’t the same without you, Di. I have a lot to celebrate this Christmakkah; especially you. You’re all I could ever want and more, and the only girl I ever want to share holidays with. I love you.” Dropping a sweet kiss to her forehead, Kevy cradled Dianna’s glowing cheeks, thumbs warmly grazing over the scarlet flush of them as he smiled down at her. “You’re insanely precious, don’t you know?” he murmured, letting grip fall back to her waist tenderly. “Wanna trim your first Christmas tree?” he asked spiritedly.
She was the best Christmas present ever, and Kevin hoped that he would be able to have her for every single Christmas that passed through the years.

Dianna “mm”ed, within Kev’s arms continually at ease— she just felt so… safe. So loved, and so— so warm, he promising again just how badly she’d been missed. Di smiled, rosy cheeks aglow, leaning into Kevy’s nuzzle. “Don’t argue,” she scolded, sweet, turning between both giddy laughter and sloppy kisses to face him fully; Dianna beamed, adoring Kevin’s gentle tuck of her stray curls behind ear, delicate touch at the base of his neck threading. There, Di found purchase, knotting through chocolate brown hair (she knew her boy was one to grow weak at the feeling)— Kev’s kiss of forehead, rest unto forehead prompting she hush his complimentary tease. “Shhhh,” Dianna purred, matching his contented sigh, still grinning; Di shivered, a hot and pleasant chill, Kevy’s hands massaging over the dip in her spine. “Mm… I like that idea, handsome,” she mused, kissing him soft a chaste moment. “And you’re welcome…” Again, Dianna smiled, Kevin’s final two pecks before leave to change bringing about a certain… sentimentality. Heating cider, Di wondered what it might be like were they… possibly— living together. Affection wouldn’t be so rare to give… decorating a sole place, one of their own, would come easy…
Stepping inside living room, mugs set aside and she overseeing holiday baubles, Dianna considered how to… present such an alternative without… scaring Kev off… though her man was quick to return, shattering internal reverie— snagging Di into yet another firm hold, playfully biting at the peppermint scented rush of her pulse. Dianna squirmed, giving a sharp and girlish scream, giggling after; breathlessly drawing free from his biting tickles, Di smiled, Kevy assuring they could begin with readying for Hanukkah. “Great!” she enthused, his smooch of her palm (hands tightly interlaced) and razz of holidays buys encouraging Dianna first swoon— then swat at Kevin’s chest. “Hush,” she laughed. “I was excited!” Di smirked, Kev mimicking her earlier shrug… however, at his kiss, she hummed, eyeing the piece of silver tinsel he’d lifted. Suddenly mischievous, Dianna slipped said tinsel from Kevy’s grip, putting it instead around his neck— tugging him close by each end, chuckling as this time she kissed him… walking backwards, never once breaking the giggled meet of their now spiced lips, leading Kevin near to her fireplace.
“It goessssssss here, sweetheart!” she noted, adorably at a loss for breath, features pinked and bobbing once more onto tip-toe, pecking Kev’s nose. “On the mantle… right underneath the menorah!”
Kevin could hold Dianna forever if physically possible; she always felt so perfect— fit so perfectly in his arms. Exchanging nuzzles and kisses - flirty banter, the brunette bid his lady adieu as he went to change into his own warm set of holiday pajamas, thoughts of their future together swirling within his head. This was their first Christmas together, so it was only natural, right? Once clad in winter plaid, Kevin was reunited with his love, his playfully ferocious bear hug receiving giggles and squeals from his Lady Di. She was delicious as always; the hint of peppermint essence coating her skin, further drawing Kev in— neck inclined, teeth gently nibbling and grazing neck and collarbone - his release of playful little growls murmured into her silky skin. Giving her frame a tight squeeze and cooling the barely blushed flesh of her neck with lips, Kevin tugged back, his hand gingerly taking the blonde’s and lifting palm to kiss at the back of it. Eyes shifted to the couch, it swallowed by decorations and provoking a chuckle from him as he teased. It was true though, no one else could deny that it very well did look as if Dianna had bought out the entire section of Target.
“You do realize this is like the third time you’ve told me to be quiet, right?” he mused, raising an eyebrow and flashing her a devious smirk. “It’s only further egging me on. You know the only way to keep me quiet is the kiss me.” Grabbing a metallic piece of utensil, Kevin mirrored Di’s earlier shrug, planting another kiss to cider-glossed lips as he questioned where it should go. Gasping in a bit of surprise as he was tugged forward by the garland being snaked around his neck, he soon felt Dianna kissing him again; Kev giggled between kisses, keeping his arms wrapped firmly around her waist as he was lead toward fireplace— blue eyes peeped open every now and then, just to be sure his girl wasn’t going to crash into anything. Watching intently as they reached the mantle and Dianna began splaying the tinsel about, Kevin crinkled his nose at the kiss to it before assisting in the decorating. “That looks great babe, though I thought it looked pretty good on me too… or perhaps you,” he teased, leaning in to press a kiss to each blushing cheek before nuzzling against with his own. “I do feel kind of smart, knowing what the menorah is,” Kevin grinned proudly, nudging Di’s nose with his own. Once some of the Hanukkah pieces were out, he realized there were brand new Christmas ones still laying across the couch, wrapped in plastic.
“…Di?” he asked softly, letting hands wander beneath her cocoa covered top to dance along her back. ” Did you get all this stuff for me or do you do this every year and bought new stuff…?” he asked curiously, a bit excited to be sharing traditions, and even more touched if this whole set up was for him… or rather them.

Despite how often the two did, in fact, see one another— Dianna felt it wasn’t quite often enough; already, she’d missed the feel of being wrapped within Kevy’s arms, giddy to have them back round her waist. She’d missed his smell… his warmth— his handsomely set features and deep, wonderfully expressive blue eyes. He was her true home, whole and inviting, Di beaming beneath Kev’s kiss of cheek in “hello”. She mirrored the action just after unto his own, loving the way he giggled— lips pressing a few more times there, silly and sweethearted. Though Kevin then took to nuzzling ribboned hair, Dianna reaching up a free palm— cradling the scruff of his jaw impossibly tender, holding a moment before twisting to face him. “Impossible,” Di teased, flushing as he brushed back a few stray curls, never losing her bright smile nor breaking their stare. Bobbing onto the tips of sock dressed toes, Dianna pecked at both Kevy’s nose and pout, he returning such affection with a paired kiss— this one to her forehead; Di laughed, soft, hazel focus fluttering shut… touch at the nape of his neck sweeping a bit north, threading through tufts of chestnut hair— gaze again open as she swore a gentle, “Mm… I missed you too, love… so much.”
Dianna chuckled, Kev’s tickle of touch over pajamas prompting she hug herself a bit nearer to his chest. “I’ll have none of that self-deprecation tonight, mister man. You’re going to look absolutely precious,” Di assured, Kevin’s agreement to cider and ask that she detail Hanukkah encouraging a girlish nod, deft. “Sure thing, honey,” Dianna grinned, humming against his pucker mid-kiss. However, tugging free— Kevy planting yet another smooch atop Di’s heated cheek and promising a quick change— she beamed. “‘Kay,” Dianna murmured, watching as Kev disappeared inside her bedroom… contentedly sighing and flitting about kitchen, prepping two mugs full of hotly spiced, holiday blended apple cider. Padding towards living room, setting down each cup upon coffee table, Di assessed the den’s barren Christmas tree; newly purchased decorations, still in box, littered her couch, Dianna pondering where they might look best… humming along with Frank Sinatra’s “I Believe“— but relative quiet was soon shattered, Kevin embracing her from behind.
Di “eep“ed, erupting into a fit of giggles and clinging, whining out a playful, “Nooooooooo, babyyyy— no!” having caught Kev’s wish to eat her up, muffled by candy cane perfumed neck. Dianna smiled, miming his kiss and interlacing their unoccupied hands. “Well,” she began, “I pretty much cleared out the ENTIRE Hanukkah section at Target a while back, and… it starts on the Hebrew calendar date of 25 Kislev, which would beeeee… this Saturday night, so— if you want, we could start there.” She grinned up at him, adorably giving a slight half-shrug, squeezing his palm. “And see,” Di teased, admiring his choice in sleep-wear. “I told you you’d look cute, Kevy…”
Kevin really did miss Dianna as much as he expressed. Sure, they spent a lot of time together, but he missed her at work. He always loved his job, though as the seasons of Glee continued on and there wasn’t much progress with his character, it became a bit disheartening. After the graduates left, and especially Di, things just weren’t the same at all. He used to wake up every morning to the thought of her brightening his sleepy head upon studio arrival; now though, it was rare to see her at work, and with long hours and such, it sometimes felt like the times apart were too long and the minutes together were short. “Is too possible,” he hummed into Dianna’s ear, arms winding round her frame tighter as he nuzzled, having missed the feel of her slender bod within his embrace— the vibrancy of her eyes and warmth of her smile… even if it had only been days. Kevin couldn’t stop the bubbling giggles that resonated— she was still pressing kisses across his face and nose, Di’s giddiness spilling onto him with their happy greeting; it was just - everything was always better and brighter with her around.
Eyes meeting again, Kev’s smile softened as his jaw was cupped and caressed, own fingers pushing back a strand of stray golden tress so he could better see her nearly matching stare. “You’re too precious, Lady Di. I can’t even with you right now,” he cooed, laying a kiss to her forehead and then dropping it against her own for a moment, sighing as he felt her touch find home in his brunette locks. “Let’s just agree we missed each other equally and kiss and make up already?” he teased, fingers fiddling with the hem and sides of her warm winter pajamas before finally settling at the small of his love’s back, dancing in slow circles there. Jaw fell slack for a moment as Dianna’s fingers remained in his hair; having it toyed with was definitely a weakness he possessed. “Mmm, thank you baby,” Kevin murmured half-dazedly as they shared another kiss and he was promised to be taught of her Jewish ways. Leaving her with a final kiss, he headed to bedroom to retrieve his own set of warm pajamas for decorating, the ideas of living together— finally building a future with Di, sprouting back up. It was a subject he didn’t bring up too often; he didn’t want to make his girlfriend feel any pressure but… living together really would be remarkable, he’d assured himself.
After changed into fluffy comforted pajamas, Kevin quietly made his way down Dianna’s hall, sneaking up on her from behind and tugging her close, into a huge hug. “Yesss! You taste too yummy to go to waste!” he laughed, nibbling gently at perfumed collarbone and smiling as they pulled apart just enough to drink in one another’s expressions; one hand soon filled with warm cider mug as the other was taken by hers. “Thaaat sounds perfect to me, angel,” Kevin nodded in reply; though he still didn’t know exactly where to start, he knew they were going to with her holiday, and intended on following Di’s lead. “Mmm…” he trailed, though his lovely lady’s bright eyes and comment about his appearance had Kevin blushing, warm mug set aside so he could bring lips to the back of her palm and kiss it, their press warm from the heated drink. “Looks like we’ve got our work cut out for us bee,” he murmured, tugging back with a smirk. “Your couch alone looks like an entire aisle of Target,” he teased. Picking up a bit of tinsel Kevin playfully mirrored Di’s precious shrug before pressing a chaste kiss to her lips. “Hmm, where does this go, M’lady?”
